Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Velvety deep-deep-red flowers are summer-prolific on this elegant, very compact (to only 3') shrub with refined ?hydrangea-like? foliage; stunning in container or border! S/M PP14776
Blooming July to autumn 'Robert Fleming' has deepest red "crepe de chine," 10" flowers surrounded by dark green elliptic leaves. It is deer resistant but attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Sun with afternoon shade is the ideal exposure but will tolerate full sun. 3' tall, full, compact clump. These perennials make their appearance late in the spring so don't assume they have turned up their toes. Have patience and you will be more than amply rewarded.Minimum temperature: -30?F
