Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Has showy deep green foliage year round. In spring, this hybrid is covered with a huge number of pink flowers. Only a few available.
Burgundy and white buds open light pink from February to April, maturing to burgundy red, set atop dark green foliage. Great for shady areas and containers.
One of the best pink hellebores with pink buds opening in February to reveal pink flowers that mature to deep pink. The darkest pink tones develop in colder temperatures. Handsome, silvery green foliage on red stems. The outstanding Helleborus Gold Collection brings magical, new life to winter and early spring blooming hellebores. Flowering the first year, they are long blooming, with lots of outward-facing buds and blossom. Deer resistant.
An exciting new cultivar from The Helleborus Gold Collection, hybridized by German plantsman, Josef Heuger, 'Pink Frost' is esteemed for its captivating floriferous display and its robust versatile bearing. A multicolored effect is created as a legion of burgundy buds unfurl antique-toned pink petals, which encompass blonde clustered stamens, and eventually mature to a deeper rosy red. Forging a silver dappled evergreen clump of thick, small-toothed, red-petioled leaves, this Helleborus lividus and Helleborus niger progeny is tailor-made for container culture and obliges a wide range of light conditions including deep shade, full sun and everything in between. (USPPP)
Burgundy buds open to 2-3" two tone pink/white outward facing blossoms. As flowers fade they take on burgundy tones again. Bred to bloom early and long, they start as early as Valentine's Day (in protected spots), and continue through spring. 12-14" tall.
