Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The attractive glossy green foliage of Geranium 'Elke' makes the perfect backdrop for the eye-catching cranesbill blooms in shades of dark pink with red veins all surrounded by a unique frosted white edge. Long-blooming from spring through early fall. A hybrid involving G. sanguineum with a habit very much like this species. Great as a ground cover, at the front of the border, or trailing from pots or planters. Popular with bees and mostly deer resistant.
This amazing G.sanguineum produces its beautiful 1 inch bright-pink, edged in white ; veined in rose flowers just about ALL summer (April into fall) on soil-tolerant plants, 10" tall x 3' wide... delightful! S/M
