The foot-wide leathery leaves of this in-or-out-door perennial, randomly and brightly splashed with gold, are as showy as the lemon-yellow flowers on their 2' stalks. PSh/M-W
Mounds of round, dark green, leathery leaves with creamy yellow spots serve as a base for stalks of daisy-like yellow flowers. Deciduous below Zone 9, it will return again in spring. Thrives in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Grow along streams or ponds and in woodland gardens. Adds a tropical effect in shady borders and large containers. Cover with mulch in fall and remove in spring.

Forms a dense clump with upright arching foliage to one to two feet tall. Use beside pools or bogs. Excellent plant to use as a mass in front of a tall bed or in the back of a small bed. Use also as a specimen or in a large container with other plants.
Lush glossy leaves have irregular yellow spots and provide a tropical look to the Leopard Plant. Erect yellow flowers bloom above the foliage in mid fall. Good for difficult shady locations. Awards: Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
