Phantom' is an extremely compact joe-pye weed to only three feet. It sports large clusters of wine-red flowers in late summer that are very attractive to butterflies. Great in the perennial border, meadow or wild garden and as a cut flower.

This compact form of Joe Pye Weed, at only 3' tall, is perfect for smaller gardens or for planting in the middle or front of the mixed border. Dusky plum flowerheads attract butterflies in August and September. It doesn't mind wet soil, and is quite forgiving of drier situations.
