Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This handsome plant gets about 12” tall and is covered with amber colored flowers in March. When they bloomed, the plants sold out in just days
Zn 5. Yellow flowers. Toothed, green leaves.
What a pretty Queen! Long lasting floral display beginning in midspring, with myriads of soft yellow/orange spidery flowers tipped with deeper orange red on wiry 18-24" stems. New foliage has a reddish blush as it emerges, aging to a handsome khaki green.
Large yellow flowers concentrate to orange toward the edge of the sepals, and bloom over an extended season, March through at least May, and often even through much of the summer. Green, toothed and elongated heart-shaped leaves last most of the year and both new growth and sometimes older growth can be wonderfully splashed with red. Truly one of my favorites. Semi-deciduous and clumping. 10" T x 18" W Minimum temperature: -20 °F
Bred by Blackthorn Nursery owner Robin White, this brand new Epimedium flavum and Epimedium wushanense cross is adorned with droves of large warm-hued blooms. Arranged in an open fashion on long, nearly invisible black stems, the whimsical deep yellow flowers feature light blonde hooked spurs, red-tinged sepal backs and speckled petals, all melding together for an overall amber shade. Toothed and elongated, tidy heart-shaped foliage heralds spring with a bold russet mottling.
E. 'Caramel' x E. flavum Large clump of mottled red & bronze spiny leaves that age to green later in the season. Blooms in spring with a very high number of large yellow flowers aging to orange above the foliage. Stunning display! Plant in partial sun to full shade. 24” tall, Zones 5-9 Semi-evergreen.
