When I first saw this plant I had to touch it tosee if it was real! Probably one of theBEST of the genus, this tough perennial forms 2’ wide clumps from which sturdy, upright, no staking required branched stems are topped with BIG tomato redflowers 5”across from late spring to late summer (and sporadically infall). Goldfinches enjoy seeds, hummersadore the flowers! Full sun, most soils.Moist to dryish. Great cut and dried.
Stunning warm, tomato-red flowers to five inches wide. A real treat on plants three feet tall and nearly as wide covered with flowers till frost. Plants are well branched and show excellent vigour. A natural pairing with Echinacea 'Mac 'n' Cheese'. Easy to grow in full sun with good drainage. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering.
PPAF. Bristled orange cones surrounded by red hot orange petals make this cultivar a knockout. Wide 4.5" flowers attract butterflies. Fertile, sharply-drained soil is a must. Long-blooming during the summer.
Large (3.5") flowers of bright tomato-soup red, a color EVERYone knows ; loves and one of the best red Echinaceas, this sturdy-stemmed 30" mounder will be enjoyed in pot/border by one ; all!. S/MD/GDr PP19427
This is the color you need to electrify your late summer garden. 32" tall clumps are topped August and September with large 5" tomato red flowers. Terrific with deep blue Salvia guarantica! Be forewarned that this patented Coneflower is propagated via tissue culture like many of the Big Sky series and is much slower growing the first year in the garden. Shipping Qt. pots.
Warm, tomato-red flowers to 6" wide stunned our nursery visitors! A real treat which grows to 32" tall and nearly as wide. Flowers will cover this selection till frost! Plants are well branched and show excellent vigor. A natural pairing with E. 'Mac 'n' Cheese' or 'Now Cheesier'.
Glowing large red flowers on 2' plants that bloom and bloom. One of the most robust of all the coneflowers we've had in the garden!
