Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Lovely yellow-tinted-peach "finger of gloves...digit-alis" bell-flowers appear continuously mid-summer into fall on the strong upright 18" stems of this sterile (no spreading) perennial. S/MPPAF
Just lovely. Also known as the cv "Waldigone'. A sterile hybrid of two perennial species of Foxglove, D. obscura, native to the Mediterranean and D. grandiflora, native to colder areas of Europe. “Goldcrest’ combines the hardiness and durability of D. grandiflora with the intriguing rusty coloring of the D. obscura, on long blooming plants. Plants bear peachy yellow flowers with rust colored spotting and grow on 18” stems from midsummer through fall. Grow in soil that has good drainage. Hardy in zones 4-7, grows in sun/pt.shade and is deer resistant.
Sunny apricot-orange-yellow bells with brown freckles hang in loose clusters from very strong stems to 18 inches. Goldcrest is long blooming since the flowers are sterile. Forms mounds of attractive evergreen foliage. Native to the mountains of Spain. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
Peach-yellow racemes with reddish-brown blushes on strong vertical stems. Long period of bloom. An exciting new Foxglove introduction from David Tistram. 18" tall. PP20932
