Dianthus 'Frosty Fire' is a broadleaf evergreen perennial with blue foliage. In fall, spring and summer red flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - bright shade and occasional water. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

These fragrant red flowers bloom late spring into the summer and attract butterflies. The blue-green foliage stays low and compact, excellent for use along borders or edging for paths. Also a great filler for pots or containers. In warmer winter regions, may remain evergreen throughout the year.
A walters introduction with excellent blue green foliage and deep red double flowers on compact scapes it looks to have grat-plumarius parentage, one of the best looking new dianthus we have seen in a while.
Double, Chinese lacquer-red blooms explode above mounds of icy blue-green, evergreen foliage. If deadheaded, this cultivar will flower in early summer and in the fall.
