Delosperma cooperi is a fast-growing broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial groundcover with blue and green foliage. In spring magenta and purple flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in average, gritty, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and seaside / salt tolerant.

Delosperma cooperi is an upright growing succulent with blue-green foliage that displays a mat of bright pink, daisy-like flowers. Excellent for rock and alpine gardens. Deer resistant. Ice Plants grow best in well-drained, gravelly soil that is not wet in winter. Drought tolerant. Requires little water once established.
Vibrant pink/purple blooms cover the succulent foliage from spring until fall for a beautiful ground cover.
Thrives in dry, sandy or rocky soils, in containers or atop rock walls where perfect drainage is assured. Its glossy neon pink flowers and sparkling stems relish the heat and drought of summer, blooming July to September. Best overwintering success in dry, sheltered locations.
Single deep rose pink flowers all summer on shiny, deep green foliage. Ice plants are long-blooming and carefree succulent mat-forming perennials similar to sedums that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil or in the rainshadow of a house or other structure. Great in containers. Deer resistant.
Hot pink flowers, the leaves are more cylindrical than sutherlandii but otherwise it is similar, cooperi is one of the hardiest species surviving here on dry sites and flowering for months.
Delosperma cooperi also known as the ice plant is an amazingly hardy ground cover. It has very succulent looking needle shaped leaves and nice pink flowers that bloom all summer. It was one of the most flowering plants in our rock garden the last few years. Once in the ground it makes a nice mat several feed across. A must have for any hardy cactus or succulent garden.
