Crinum 'Stars and Stripes' has beautiful and tropical-looking, lily-like, white flowers with well-defined raspberry stripes down the centre of each petal all held in open flower clusters. Subtropical, strap-like foliage.
Crinum x digweedii Stars and Stripes is an older hybrid Crinum with large 4 to 6 inch flowers that are white with pink stripes down the petals. Growing to just under 2 feet tall. It will clump and bloom mid to late summer. This plant is shown to be hardy zone 7. If your a zone pusher like myself you can easily over winter this plant in zone 6 with 4 to 8 inches of leaves over the crown.
