Nursery contributed plant descriptions

'Orange Punch' is a compact, fast-multiplying canna, topped from spring until frost with intense bright orange flowers with a yellow throat...a hummingbirds delight. From its Canna iridiflora background, the flowers are held in long pendent racemes instead of the typical upright spikes. If you like bright colors, this unique new canna will quickly become one of your favorites! . Zones 7-10. Hummingbird attractant. Blooms all summer long.
Canna Orange Punch this little canna is an over achiever in the canna world. It has changed the way many people grow and think about cannas. Canna Orange punch grows 3 to 4 feet tall with bright orange flowers and yellow centers. The flowers are not the largest in the canna group but this plant makes up for it by flowering continuously all summer often twice as much as most other varieties. In most cases it is the first and last canna flowering in my beds. The flowers are also self cleaning and fall off after blooming to keep the plant clean looking with out any dead flowers hanging on. Foliage: Light green foliage Flowers: Bright orange flowers yellow centers Height: 3 to 4 feet tall
Raucous orange pendent flowers with yellow throats set off by hunter green leaves on 4' stems. Sounds like a tropical sensation to me.
