Campanula poscharskyana ‘Blue Waterfall’ is an evergreen, mounding perennial with masses of violet-blue, star-shaped flowers blooming above. Displays small, bright green foliage. Shear back old flowers to encourage new buds.
As a waterfall cascading over a wall or a perennial groundcover, this dense low-growing spreader is a winner with its mass of deep blue-white centered bells during mid-summer. S-PSh/M
This Serbian Bellflower creates flowing rivers of lavender blue star flowers with white throats floating over mats of dark green toothed foliage June Sept. Will cascade over pot rims, around boulders and over wall edges. Moist soils, will tolerate some dry shade when established – light shade is best.

This versatile campanula from the Balkans is usefull for the front of the border, trailing over rockery walls, weaving through and into other perennials, and adorning window boxes. It grows quickly and blooms profusely from spring right through to fall with masses and masses of blue bell flowers.
Low mounds of light green foliage covered with dark blue bell-shaped flowers in summer with some repeat bloom in fall. Low-growing, vigorous spreading habit. Although some members of this genus have upright stems and flowers, 'Blue Waterfall' belongs to a group of bellflowers or campanulas that are low, mat-forming creepers. Blue Waterfall is aptly named since a profusion of blue flowers flows from the center of the plant. Plant in front of borders or island beds. Excellent specimen plant for rock garden walls, patio container, window boxes or hanging baskets. Prefers average well-drained soils. Plants can spread rapidly, so place plants where they can be allowed to grow. Reasonably drought tolerant once established. Divide plants in spring or fall every two to three years.

A cascading river of blue-violet, star-shaped blooms emanates from this low-to the-ground, vigorous beauty. Opening from pointy ribbed buds, each soothing, cool-colored flower is highlighted by a subtle white eye, amid good-looking toothed foliage that is darker and more tidy than the species. 'Blue Waterfall' is tailor-made for tumbling over walls or creeping along steps, can handle some drought once established and is basically trouble free. (pp#13161)
