An Asian form of False Nettle, (thankfully, missing the stinging parts), Boehmeria platanifolia is a curiosity, grown specifically for its bold pointy sycamore shaped leaves although it does flower...with upright first, then drooping tan/green tassels in late summer. Plants grow 3-4' tall and wide. It is an interesting late season addition for the sun or partially shade garden.
