Belamcanda chinensis ‘Hellow Yellow’ displays a compact clump of upright sword foliage topped with clusters of sunny-yellow, 6 petal flowers and black berries. A well behaved hardy perennial for Summer color. Thrives in most well-drained soils, with dry to medium moisture. It is very drought tolerant. Hates waterlogged soil in winter. Great border plant. Also used for fresh or dried cut flowers and seedheads.
Large buttery-yellow flowers bloom on wiry, forked stems from July through August. Iris-like foliage is adorned with showy black seed clusters in the fall for late season interest. Does best in well-drained soil and is drought tolerant.

Like a ray of sunshine, this happy-faced dwarf blackberry lily shines its adorable buttery yellow flowers in late summer on 20" tall spikes. 10" tall foliage stays long after the flowers are gone to show off the purple-black 'blackberry' seeds. A real show stopper massed in the front of the border; HELLO!
