Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the most desirable of all cobra lilies with its incredible burgundy spathe, pure white interior and pure white knobbed spadix. This selection even has silver-centred foliage! Plant in well-drained soil that is dryish in the winter such as on a slope or near or under evergreen shrubs or trees.
Shipped Jan.-March only. Same as the species but with liver marked leavr centers. Prefers a moist but well drained soil. Currently 2 years old corms (3/4" in diameter), 1 year away from blooming, shipped bare root Jan. through March.
Blooms: spring-summer, blue, early emerging, blue-green and silver-gray mottled foliage Zone 5-9. 24", Japan, part shade-shade, moist, well drained.
The creme de la creme of Arisaemas in many gardener's eyes. Marvelous silver splashed foliage and unmistakeable flowers that are pure sculpture. I think it is the visually arresting spadix standing upright in the flower seemingly chiseled from the finest white Carrera marble.
