Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bright tangerine, deeply-freckled flowers on upright 30" stems make this super cut flower a great May-frost addition to border/container/bouquet; a fine 30"t x 12-18"w selection from Mark Bridgen at Cornell Unv. S/M-D/GDr
Alstroemeria 'Tangerine Tango' is a tropical dream of tangerine, lemon and a touch of lime. Sturdy stems of 30 inches are great for long lasting bouquets. Alstroemerias do best in well drained, humus-rich soil, under full sun or part shade in extreme heat. Well-drained soil and mulch will increase winter hardiness in the lower USDA zones.
A Peruvian Lily for zone 6 (or warmer ) gardens, with tangerine yellow colored blossoms accented by light yellow throats and dappled dark speckles. Happiest in a well-drained, humus-rich soil under full sunlight. Protect with a layer of mulch in cooler areas as a uniform soil temperature encourages flowering. Mulch in winter recommended.
