Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Nice tall stems (24-30”) make this a superb cut flower that lasts up to 2 weeks in a vase; coral, rose-red flowers with white accents and carmine red speckling are runways for hummers. Give this a 3’ wide spot in a sunny bed in average garden soil and water it when dry and you will have beautiful flowers in the border and in the house all summer long and on into the fall!  USDA Zone 6  3"x 5" pot
A hybrid from Mark Bridgen, creator of Alstroemeria 'Sweet Laura'. It has medium sized flowers in a warm strawberry tone, highlighted with a creamy-yellow zone and chocolate-brown dashes. Sounds like a good desert dish to me! Very few for 2016.
