What a find! The large scalloped leaves of this amazing clumper (to 3') are beautifully edged with creamy-gold fading to white and green; later 4-5' stalks of creamy-pink fox-glove-like flowers appear! PSh/M-GDr
The leaves on this acanthus are mostly white so create a beautiful splash of the broad white and green foliage in the garden. The flowers and stems are white and pink.
Huge glossy dark green leaves with white margins and mottling create a mound with white and purple flower spikes up to 3 ft tall, blooms Jun-Aug. Part shade to shade. Long flowering period.

The first variegated acanthus, still very new and still exciting, the green leaves splashed with creamy white and later lined in white. And the flowers are PINK! To 2 ft tall by 3 ft wide. Evergreen to 20F in a protected spot; otherwise leafing out in spring. Part sun to shade in well-drained soil. As with many acanthus, somewhat drought tolerant once established. Root hardy in USDA zone 7.
This gem, found in Tasmania, offers striking, bold leaves with white margins and mottling. It forms a large clump with 3' to 4' tall ornamental flower stalks of pink and cream in late summer. A. mollis is tolerant of most soils but thrives in deep, fertile, moist, and well-drained conditions.
