Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Here is the apricot yellow form of this very interesting cross made by Brandt. There are not many hybrids made between plants belonging to other series with those which are members of the Subsection Cinnabarina. This is one of those rare crosses. It is an upright growing plant with glossy leaves. In the summer, they often look as if they were polished by some Irish leprechaun, out to spread shiny green throughout the world. The flowers are a delightful apricot yellow. They are not as tubular as 'Lady Roseberry', yet they show a strong resemblance to the waxy flowers of that parent. An unusual and interesting hybrid.
