Of all the members of this genus, this plant is hands-down the most spectacular foliage plant. The striking glaucous metallic-blue leaves are complemented by an underside of orange-brown indumentums. Flowers vary from shades of pink, lilac and lavender with darker pigmented freckles.
Known for its superior fine dark green foliage, with great indumentum a little more fawn colored than others. Leaves open as silver green deepening during the summer to a soft blue. Flowers are a very pale lilac to white, with slight spotting.
