Berberis x interposita 'Wallich's Purple' is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with green and purple foliage. In spring yellow flowers emerge followed by black fruit. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, clay and well-drained soil.

Has purple new growth that highlights this dark evergreen plant. We can't find much information but believe B. 'Wallichs Purple' will get to 2' tall. This is one of the most beautiful of the evergreen low growing barberries.
