Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Four-inch flowers are a purple red with a purple pink center and dark red blotch on the dorsal lobe. The compact trusses are composed of about 15 flowers. Five-inch leaves are a olive green.
This flower has one of the most difficult colors to describe. If you melt together lavender and burgundy to get a dark satin pastel, you will get the color of the scrumptious float this plant is named after. Vigorous, with long flushes of growth.
