Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Has green and reddish pink variegated iris like evergreen leaves.
Phormium have cornered the market on structure and drama which is likely why they're so popular. 'Jester' is an unmistakable cultivar with broad reddish-pink leaves edged in contrasting olive green. New Zealand Flax usually sail through our coastal BC winters but benefit from a mulch of leaves at their base and having their foliage tied up to help it resist heavy snowfalls. In colder climates, grow in pots and bring indoors to a frost-free environment.
Another great foliage selection for containers: 'Jester' forms arching clumps of 2-3' warm pinkish leaves that are accented by orange central ribbing and lime green edges. Its overall height effect is about 18-24". Hardy to 15-20F. shipping qt pots.
Foliage striped with pink center and green margins.
