Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A 1-2' colorful grass which is seldom available, this form is grown primarily for its yellow flowers (4-8") and yellow foliage especially pretty in spring and useful in fresh or dried arrangements. S-PSh-Sh/M-W
A delicate little cool season grass reveling in moist shaded positions. It's soft, bright chartreuse, 5mm wide blades form a loose clumps which given their gentle nature are indispensable planted with small woodland bulbs such as Cyclamen coum or on it's own to light up that damp shaded spot. It also makes an ideal winter filler for that prize, potted, Summer growing bulb. Semi dormant over Summer and then tolerant of some dryness. Cut back at the start of Winter. An unassuming little gem.
