x Halimiocistus wintonensis is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with blue and green foliage. In spring and summer burgundy and white flowers emerge. Bushy low-growing shrub to 2' tall with a 4-5' spread. The lanceolate, furry, gray-green leaves disappear behind saucer-shaped, 2" white flowers each marked by deep red bands and a yellow center. Blooms late spring to summer. Garden origin.

Among its grey green evergreen leaves appear in late spring cheery white flowers with a ring of brown in the middle surrounding a yellow center. A hybrid originating from the Mediterranean region, it only needs sun and well-drained soil to be happy. Hardy to about 5 - 10 °F.
