Nursery contributed plant descriptions

From the foothills of the Alps, this graceful perennial produces masses of delicate foliage (to 1' x 1') dotted with small yellow, snap-dragon-like flowers over a long summer period; ?ethereal cutting material for small vases? (GST). PSh/M
Corydalis lutea has clusters of bright yellow, spurred flowers that bloom above blue-green foliage. Plants can self-seed lightly in the garden but do not become invasive. Looks great colonizing stone walls or steps or popping up in the shade garden.
We haven't offered this in a while, but it hitch hiked back into the garden on a Sinocalycanthus that Langhammer brought us, (be warned it is even more of a weed than Dufu) however it too blooms forever and is great from a landscape point of view. In any event, it is now loose in our Hosta garden and we have been potting up some of the excess, its just too pretty to throw on the compost pile. ZONE 4
12-15" tall with delicate blue green ferny foliage. Flowers are bright yellow and tubular. Likes shade and good drainage. Multiplies nicely without being invasive.

Where it is content, this little plant self sows abundently with dainty yellow blossoms over a long period beginning in late spring. Lovely blue-green dissected foliage accents these blossoms. Prefers a spot with good drainage, and although plants are not long lived the self sown seedlings persist in your garden for years to come.
Brilliant golden yellow, long blooms, self seeds.
