Hymenocallis pygmaea 'South of the Border' plant details

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This fun cutie is a new ‘Juniper Level Botanical Garden’ introduction…a smaller, stoloniferous selection from South Carolina. Forms a clumping chain of narrow leaved 8” rosettes that throw 12’ stems in early summer crowned by large, night-fragrant, spidery white flowers with silky, translucent petals. Just splendid in moist to wet soil in full sun. Grow baby!
