Collected by Dan Hinkley in 1996 on the summit of Emei Shan in southwestern China, this attractive evergreen groundcover reaches 1ft high x 4ft wide. Clusters of greenish-yellow flowers appear in late winter. Best in bright shade and humus-rich soil with some added summer moisture. Frost hardy to 0F, USDA zone 7.
