Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A striking, more compact form of an old-favorite, with bright-yellow to lime-green leaves; it may, as do many yellow-leaved plants, burn in full sun. S-PSh/M
This viburnum has golden leaves from April-October. The leaves are a nice golden color to back up the white lace cap flowers in June.
This smallish, striking viburnum has leaves that emerge bronze in spring, aging to dark yellow then turning green as summer approaches. Umbrels of white spring flowers are intensely fragrant and showy against the bright foliage. Bright red berries follow in late summer holding on as long as the birds allow. To a compact 4 ft tall x 5 ft wide, this viburnum makes a statement in the woodland garden in part shade to full sun in coastal areas. Expects regular summer water. Frost hardy to -40F, USDA zone 3.
A striking compact golden leaved Cranberry Viburnum, with foliage emerging a bright chartreuse that eventually evens out to green as the summer continues. New growth displays the golden coloring. White flowers appear in May and are followed by showy fruit. 4-5' with equal spread.
This shrub requires some shade to best show off the newly emerging yellow foliage and to give the foliage protection from hot afternoon sun. The white lacecap flowers are very elegant above the soft yellow-green leaves of summer. Slower growing than the species but will reach 12'. White flowers are followed by orange to scarlet berries.
