This selection is from an ancient plant growing on a west wall in a northeast Portland home and has remained undamaged by any cold ever thrown at it. Lacy, evergreen, upthrusting shrub to 15' tall x 3' wide. Red berries in winter. Full to part sun in well-drained soil. Frost hardy in USDA Zone 8 and upper Zone 7 with protection.
