Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The young foliage arises with a rich tapestry of gold and creamy yellow variegation which is strongest when plants are in part sun. Very slowly the foliage turns to green and by summer is topped with masses of creamy white flowers with a tinge of pink. An excellent cultivar for both flower and folial interest.
The variegation in spring is absolutely stunning, bright cream, turning yellow and eventually light green. Successive pale pink blooms then take over.
Great variegated Astrantia which really livens up the garden in spring when the foliage is at its brightest variegation. These are divisions from non-tissue cultured plants. Most of the TC plants have sporadic green reversions that is simply unacceptable. White flowers with a hint of pink.
Boldly variegated white, cream, and green leaves in spring turn an incognito green by midsummer. Bright shade or part sun produces best variegation. White pincushion flowers rise on 16 inch stems.
Is a variegated form of master wort. In spring this perennial comes up with bright green leaves with broad yellow margins. A. ‘Sunningdale’ grows beautifully in a woodland garden. By July the margins fade, but the white flowers will remain beautiful.
