Ornamental in 3! seasons, this rounded 6-10' shrub produces flat-topped clusters of white flowers for spring?s garden, large handsome leaves for summer?s and fine red color to set off its clusters of large yellow fruits in fall. S-PSh/M
A Winterthur selection of Linden Viburnum noted for its eye-catching yellow berries that are brilliant against the red fall foliage. Creamy white flowers in May cover this upright 8-10' with a dense well branched habit.
We first saw this plant in several gardens along the Hudson River and wanted it immediately. Not so easy to find. The normal V. dilatatum has red fruit, but dilitatum 'Michael Dodge' has golden yellow clusters. This is a truly gorgeous shrub for the fall garden. Grow with V. 'Cardinal Candy' for a heavy fruit set.
