These perennials are grown from virus free stock raised from seed that was wild collected in its native habitat in the Siskiyou Mountains. Stems, to 24-48" have waxy, glaucous leaves in whorls and, in early summer, produce stunning, brick-red flowers, bell-shaped and pendant with dark spots on the inner petals, up to 9 per stem. A drought tolerant lily that prefers well-drained, mineral and little summer water. Frost hardy to at least USDA zone 7.
