'Brass Lamp' is a most unique bearded iris with brassy burgundy brown standards grading towards yellowish tan at the tips and ruffled yellow falls accented with green and marked with bright orange beards. Blooms in the early to mid season at 35 inches high. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
