Cypripedium hotei-atsumorianum plant details

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Cypripedium hotei-atsumorianum (previously a var. of C. macranthos) has large, dramatic flowers in shades of deep magenta pink with huge, rounded pouches and broad, striped petals. One of the most dramatic and beautiful of the species. Blooms later in May than many other Cyps. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
