Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Cyclamen rohlfsianum is a rare species endemic to Libya with large, rounded, maple-like leaves with pointed lobes that can be variably pattered with mint green or silver. The sweetly fragrant autumn flowers are light pink grading into magenta at the base of the reflexed petals. Needs a hot, dry, sunny summer dormancy period for best flowering. Can rot in summer during dormancy if soils are wet. This species is intolerant of freezing and needs to be grown in pots that are protected in the winter.
