Anemone nemorosa 'Monstrosa' plant details

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Anemone nemorosa is a charming woodland ground cover that produces cute little one inch wide flowers in early spring above nicely dissected foliage. 'Monstrosa' is a curious form with semi-double white, green, and blue flowers. Known as wood anemone or windflower, plant them around dark flowered hellebores to help show them off against the dark soil or as an ephemeral groundcover beneath deciduous trees and shrubs. They will go dormant in mid to late summer.
