Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Allium tuberosum 'Cliffs of Dover' is a garlic or Chinese chives that is fragrant, edible and ornamentally beautiful. Round, globe-shaped, open clusters of white, star-shaped flowers are produced over green, linear foliage in late summer to fall. This late season bloom is uncommon in the genus offering their spherical flower heads when other Allium have long since finished blooming. Both the flower and foliage are edible offering a delicious, mild garlic flavour that is useful in many dishes. Easy to grow in the sunny herb garden or herbaceous border. Pollinator magnet. Deer resistant
