A Mediterranean shrub, rewarding not only for its soft, blue-streaked-white leaves, but also its canary yellow flowers from late winter through mid-spring then sporadically through the rest of the year. Strongly sweet smelling and most rewarding planted near a path where the foliage stands out and the fragrance can be enjoyed. Quite summer drought tolerant in dappled shade to bright sun. Lean conditions create more compactness. Frost hardy to USDA zone 8.
