Mighty 'Mato® Big Brandy Tomato

'Big Brandy' is a cross between two top heirloom tomatoes: the famous 'Brandywine' and 'Big Dwarf'. The result is a beefsteak tomato with the look and excellent flavour of its heirloom parents with the early harvest, vigour, production, and disease resistance of a modern tomato. The fruit of 'Big Brandy' are scarlet-pink with high acid and sugar content, rich flavour, and a weight up to one pound. Harvest in 78 days. Indeterminate. Mighty Mato grafted tomatoes are hand grafted onto super strong tomato rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so tomatoes start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Mato grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
