Brunnera sibirica

Brunnera sibirica looks very similar to B. macrophylla of 'Jack Frost' fame with its textured, heart-shaped leaves and early spring, true blue, forget-me-not like flowers except that it will form a creeping, rhizomatous ground cover perfect for a woodland setting. Spreading bugloss is a rare species but well worth growing for its toughness, hardiness, and long bloom period. Flowers will attract native bees and possibly early season butterflies and moths. Deer resistant.
