Orchid cactus (Epiphyllum hybrids) are epiphytic cacti that grow on trees in Central and South America. They have flattened or three-edged, succulent leaves that are vertical, arching or pendulous and which bear spectacular large, colourful flowers. 'Evening Delight' has large, night-blooming flowers with numerous, broad, overlapping central petals in shades of lavender-magenta with darker highlights and orange-red outer petals. Grow as a houseplant in the cold months and as an outdoor patio plant in the summer in bright indirect light or part shade/part sun. Easy to grow and bloom.
