Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The foliage and stems of B. 'Curly Locks' are twisted and curved. Makes an interesting small shrub for the garden or container.
Espaliered or as a dense 3' x 4' mound, the twisted branches of yellow-green foliage of this uncommon boxwood are eye-catching. PSh/M
A slow form of Buxus microphalla with crimped and curled leaves, particularly once it's more mature. Forms a dense mound, wider than tall with yellow-green leaves. This is a very bright color compared to other cultivars in this species. Can make a nice contrast with dark green plants. Branchlets and some leaves are nicely twisted.

A most attractive small boxwood, slow growing to 3 ft or so with narrow curled leaves, just as the name would imply, providing wonderful texture for the garden. Evergreen with leaves tinting only faintly to that dead meat look of winter boxwood (ok, so we could have found a better descriptor). This, however, is offset by the typical male cat fragrance given off by most boxwoods....hummmm. Frost hardy to below 0F, into USDA zone 6. And all this can be yours brightening that somewhat shaded spot with a bit of summer water.
