perennial, bulb / corm / tuber, aroid
Arum palaestinum is a broadleaf deciduous perennial aroid bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring black, burgundy and purple flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
