Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A sterling selection of a smaller Agapanthus which has lots of small heads of dark blue flowers, We dug this from the personal garden of our friends from Hedgerows Nursery upon their retirement and moving away. A very choice selection and not to be confused with the clone 'Midknight Blue'.
This relatively large hardy agapanthus has dark purple blue flowers over lush green strap-like leaves.
Gorgeous globes of deep blue-violet flowers on 2.5 ft stalks appear in July and August above 18-24" clumps of dark green, strap-like leaves, narrower than other forms. This Irish selection of a South African native loves sun to part shade, plenty of fertilizer in summer, and well-drained soil. Needs water during the growing season; resents too much water at any time. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
