Echium pininana is a broadleaf semi-evergreen annual / biennial with blue and green foliage. In spring and summer blue and purple flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established.
