Restio paniculatus

Restios are unbeatable for their soft, feathery texture, swaying with the slightest breeze. Their stature is impressive given their delicate appearance, reaching up to 8 feet tall. Looking a bit like a hairy grass or bamboo, Restio is a true perennial. Restio paniculatus likes to grow in full sun along the water. They dislike root disturbance but are otherwise easy to grow.

Restio paniculatus is an evergreen perennial grass (or grassy in appearance) with green foliage. In fall and summer chocolate flowers emerge. Grows well with sun and standing water - even moisture water. Does well in average soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
