Oshio-beni' translates to 'Great Red Tide', describing the waves of crimson foliage. This gorgeous maple usually reaches 12-18' tall with a graceful, spreading form. Large, seven-lobed leaves emerge coral-red in spring before deepening to dark-crimson by summer. Autumn color is sienna to scarlet and looks so pretty with the red samaras that decorate the tree.
