Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Titanopsis calcareum, or Concrete Leaf Succulent, is a unique succulent native to South Africa. The irregular rosettes have grey green, finger-like leaves with paddle-shaped tips covered in what resembles warts. People often refer to these as Mimicry Plants, because they are just SO difficult to spot in their native, rocky habitat. Yellow, daisy-like flowers appear in summer, for added interest. This is a small, slow-growing, low maintenance plant. Provide a well-drained soil away from reflected heat. Requires little water once established. Ideal in warm climate landscapes, rock gardens and container gardens, but is especially happy sitting on your bright windowsill as a houseplant. Provide lots of sunlight during the cooler, shorter days of winter, but back off on afternoon sun exposure during summer. Protect your PRINCE OF PARADISE™ from frost!
Light Shade. Indoor/Outdoor. Yellow.

Wacky wart-like tubercles cover the spoon shaped leaves of this freaky little clumping succulent. Bright orangey yellow 3/4” wide blooms appear in late Fall & Winter. Titanopsis calcarea stays cute & little (4” wide & 1” tall) making it the perfect lizard like addition for a container or rock garden & can even be grown as a houseplant, just be sure to provide excellent drainage. Takes moderate water during late Fall/Winter growing season, but likes to stay dry the rest of the year. Water only when the leaves begin to shrivel. Native to limestone outcroppings in South Africa, this is a rare case where a plant has developed a camouflage limestoney texture to blend in with its surroundings.
